Depart from Ahmedabad to Bhuj by train or bus (approx. 5 hours). Transfer to Dhordo Tent City (approx. 1.5 hours from Bhuj). Check-in to your tent. Evening sunset walk on the White Rann — a truly magical experience. Cultural evening with Gujarati folk performances. Dinner at tent city.

After breakfast, check-out. Drive to Bhuj. Visit Prag Mahal, Aina Mahal and old Bhuj bazaar for Kutch handicrafts and bandhani fabric shopping. Transfer to Bhuj Railway Station or Bus Stand for return journey to Ahmedabad.
Rann Utsav is held from November to February each year, coinciding with the winter season when the white salt desert is at its most beautiful under moonlight.
The tent city at Dhordo offers both AC and non-AC Swiss cottage tents with attached bathrooms. The tents are well-furnished and comfortable. AC tents are priced slightly higher.
Yes, the festival is very family-friendly. The walking distances are manageable and there are camel cart rides available for those who prefer not to walk on the desert.
