Tour Planning

Yes. Every itinerary is planned from scratch based on your preferred destinations, travel dates, group size, hotel category, sightseeing interests and budget. There are no fixed template packages — each trip is personalised.
Yes. Atharva Travels specialises in personalised family holidays, group departures, pilgrimage tours and customised travel experiences for all group sizes — from small families to large community groups.
Yes. We plan trips with a comfortable travel pace, practical routing, suitable hotels with lifts and amenities, and convenient transport — specifically suited for senior citizen travellers.
We do not offer fixed departure packages with shared groups. All trips are privately organised for your group on your preferred dates — fully customised and not shared with other travellers.

Hotels & Transport

Yes. We assist with hotel bookings across all categories — budget, standard, comfort and luxury — based on your location preferences, travel dates and budget requirements.
Yes. Airport transfers, railway station pickups, local sightseeing vehicles and complete transport coordination are arranged as part of the tour or as a standalone service.
Yes. Sedan cars, SUVs, tempo travellers (9 to 13 seater), mini buses and larger coaches can be arranged depending on the number of travellers and trip requirements.
Yes. Hotels, vehicles and drivers are confirmed in advance. Hotel vouchers and driver contact details are shared with travellers at least 48 to 72 hours before departure so everything is clear before travel begins.

Bookings & Payments

Bookings are confirmed after the itinerary is approved and an advance payment is received as per the agreed terms. A written booking confirmation is shared once the advance is processed.
We currently accept bank transfers (NEFT / RTGS / IMPS), UPI payments and cheques. A payment receipt or acknowledgement is provided for every transaction. Online payment options will be made available once our payment gateway integration is complete.
Yes. A partial advance payment — typically 25 to 30 percent of the total trip cost — is required to confirm hotel and transport bookings. The remaining balance is due at least 7 days before the departure date. The exact advance amount and payment schedule are clearly communicated before any payment is requested.
Yes. Tax invoices and receipts are provided for all payments received. GST invoices are issued as applicable under the relevant tax regulations for travel services.
All payment transactions are conducted through documented and traceable methods — bank transfer, UPI or cheque — and receipts are issued for every payment received. We do not request card details, OTPs or passwords through any channel. Secure online payment through a certified payment gateway will be available once our gateway integration is in place.
Yes. Booking confirmations, itinerary details, hotel vouchers, payment receipts and travel coordination documents are shared with travellers during the planning process and before departure.

Cancellation & Refunds

Yes. Cancellation charges apply to all confirmed bookings based on how far in advance the cancellation is made. The standard structure is: cancellations made 45 or more days before departure attract minimal charges; 30 to 44 days before departure attract moderate charges; cancellations within 30 days of departure may result in higher deductions depending on supplier policies. The exact policy applicable to your booking is shared in writing before confirmation.
Refunds are processed after deducting applicable cancellation charges as per the stated policy. The refundable amount is returned via the same payment method used at the time of booking — bank transfer, UPI or cheque — within 7 to 14 working days from the date of cancellation confirmation. Any delays due to bank processing are outside Atharva Travels' control.
Yes. Hotels, airlines and transport providers have their own cancellation rules, which are passed on as applicable. These charges are outside Atharva Travels' service fee and depend on the individual supplier's policy.
Yes. The cancellation and refund policy applicable to your booking is communicated clearly before payment is made, so travellers are fully informed before confirming.
In the event of cancellations due to natural calamities, government restrictions or force majeure events, we work with travellers to reschedule or recover costs to the extent possible from suppliers. Each case is handled individually.

Customisation

Yes. Itineraries can be revised — destinations added or removed, hotels changed, sightseeing adjusted and transport modified — until the booking is finalised. We work with you to get the plan right before confirming.
Yes. Hotels across all categories are available — from budget guesthouses to premium resorts. The hotel category can be adjusted to match your comfort expectations and overall trip budget.
Yes. Sightseeing, local experiences and activities can be included, excluded or adjusted at the planning stage. The itinerary is designed around your preferences, not a fixed list.
Yes. Meal preferences such as vegetarian, Jain, specific cuisine requirements or dietary needs are communicated to hotels and transport providers during booking.

Group Tours

Yes. We manage group travel for communities, housing societies, schools, corporate teams, pilgrimage groups and large family gatherings — handling all logistics from transport to accommodation and meals.
Yes. Dedicated coaches, mini buses and meal arrangements including breakfast, lunch and dinner at hotels or dhabas along the route can be organised for group travel.
We work with groups of all sizes — from a family of 4 to a community group of 200+. Pricing and arrangements are customised based on the number of travellers.

Travel Assistance

Yes. WhatsApp communication is available for travel coordination, queries and important updates during active travel. Our team is reachable for assistance throughout your trip.
Yes. If any issue arises during travel — hotel concerns, vehicle problems, schedule changes — we coordinate directly with the relevant parties on your behalf to resolve it.
Yes. A clear, written list of what is included and what is not included in the quoted price is shared with every itinerary. There are no hidden charges — any additional costs are informed upfront.
Yes. Any optional expenses, entry fees, tips, porterage or personal costs that are not covered in the package are communicated clearly before confirmation so travellers can plan accordingly.

International Travel

Yes. We provide guidance and documentation assistance for tourist visa applications for international destinations. The traveller is responsible for the visa fee, which is non-refundable regardless of outcome. Visa approval rests solely with the respective embassy or consulate — Atharva Travels is not liable for visa delays, rejections or changes in embassy requirements.
Yes. International travel insurance is recommended and can be arranged as part of the package or as a standalone service. Insurance covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies and travel disruptions.
A valid passport (minimum 6 months validity), visa, travel insurance and destination-specific entry requirements are typically needed. We provide a document checklist tailored to your destination.
Yes. International flight bookings can be arranged as part of a complete holiday package or as a standalone service across all major airlines and routes.
